As a Sleep Technologist, you will be responsible for high technical standards of all recording in the Sleep Center, as well as the coordination of the Center and reduction of Polysomnography data, EEG examinations and collection of information pertinent to the interpretation of tests.
The Sleep Disorders Center at Sharp Grossmont Hospital is a specialized outpatient facility for the evaluation and treatment of patients with problems relating to sleep and wakefulness. The 2 bed center is staffed by a sleep specialist trained in sleep disorders and pulmonology.

Current BLS certification for Healthcare Providers
The ability to perform comprehensive evaluation and treatment of Sleep Disorders
Effective interpersonal skills
Ability to communicate effectively with professional, technical and physician and office staffs
Must have complete knowledge of all aspects of sleep and its related disorders, as well as complete technical knowledge of sleep center equipment
Preferred Skills and Qualifications
Three (3) years current Polysomnographic Tech experience
