Works under the general supervision of the clinical director (MD, DO, or PhD) or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. A Polysomnographic Technologist can perform the duties defined for a Polysomnographic Technician and may provide supervision of other staff.
Performs setup, scoring and creating reports for sleep studies, MSLT and MWT. Patient care including patient transfer and education. Working and collaborating in a high functioning team environment.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in a health-related field required. Registered Electroencephalogram Technologist (R.EEG.T.) or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT), or Registered Nurse (RN), or Registered Polysomnographic Technologist (R.PSG.T.) required.
Minimum three years experience performing/scoring sleep studies required. Experience with PAP therapy and interfaces also required.
