RPSGT (Sleep Technologist) -- Full time/Part time

Pacific Sleep Program is looking for a Sleep Technologist (Full Time preferred, Part Time acceptable) for our Astoria, Oregon AASM-accredited sleep medicine practice. We emphasize excellent patient care and customer service. Job duties include polysomnographic setups and monitoring as well as staging and scoring of sleep studies. Experience with Cadwell and Epic preferred but not required. Pediatric sleep tech experience is a plus.

Hours and Compensation: This position pays $23- 35 per hour, depending on experience and scoring proficiency, and ranges from 12-36 hours per week.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Prepares and calibrates equipment required for sleep testing to determine proper functioning and make adjustments, if necessary.
• Performs polysomnographic data acquisition while monitoring study-tracing quality to ensure signals are artifact-free and make adjustments, if necessary.
• Documents routine observations, including scoring of sleep stages and clinical events, changes in procedure, and other significant events in order to facilitate scoring and interpretation of polysomnographic results.
• Implements appropriate interventions (including actions necessary for patient safety and therapeutic intervention such as continuous and bi-level positive airway pressure, oxygen, administration, etc.)
