The G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center is seeking a Medical Instrument Technician (Polysomnography Technician). This position will be located in the Sleep Disorders Laboratory/Medical Service, G.V. (Sonny) Montgomery VA Medical Center, Jackson, MS. If you are not at current, permanent VA employee, you should apply CBST-11013051-21-LG. The sleep technician assesses patients, performs overnight polysomnography and scores the sleep study on the fly. The sleep technician performs patient set up, calibration, acquisition of data, trouble shooting of equipment if needed, removal and sterilization of electrodes after completion of study and documents appropriately in electronic medical record. Outpatient visits are conducted by face to face visits, Video Connect and telephone. Additional duties as assigned. Work Schedule: Monday thru Friday; 8a-4:30p and 8p-6a Financial Disclosure Report: Not required
