A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in lab and home sleep testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. A sleep technologist is credentialed in sleep technology and may provide oversight of other sleep center staff including technicians in training.
Western Sleep Medicine began as a single independent testing facility in 2006 and now operates twelve accredited laboratories for sleep related breathing disorders in Western Nebraska, Eastern Wyoming and Southwest South Dakota. Western Sleep Medicine is family owned and continues to build upon our reputation of exceptional clinical care resulting in trusted relationships with referring providers and their staffs.
