Polysomnographic Tech
SUMMARY: The Polysomnographic Tech works under the general supervision of the medical director (M.D./D.O) to providecomprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders. This may involve polysomnography, diagnostic and therapeutic services or patient care and education. The Polysomnographic Tech may perform the duties defined for a sleep technologist defined by the AASM. LICENSE/CERT: Required: BLS (Basic Life Support) from AHA (American Heart Association), RPSGT (Registered Polysomnographic Technologist) within 1 year of hire EDUCATION: Required: Associates - Health Care Management, Associates - Healthcare Related Field, Associates - Science, Other - equivalent combination of professional certification & job experience., Preferred: Bachelors - Related Field
