Established and rapidly growing healthcare practice in Alaska seeks Polysomnographic Technologist to join its team of dedicated healthcare professionals.
Under the general supervision of the Medical Director, sleep technologist will perform diagnostic and titration polysomnography, multiple sleep latency tests, maintenance of wakefulness tests, and home sleep apnea tests. In addition, sleep technologist will be responsible for initiating and monitoring PAP therapy. The sleep technologist must be credentialed in sleep technology and able to provide supervision of other technical personnel.
Work Hours: Variable
This position requires candidate to work collaboratively with the healthcare team to assess, coordinate and implement patient care; to communicate effectively with the Medical Director, referring physician, other sleep technologists and technicians, and administrative staff; and to ensure continuity of care for the patient so that the patient's medical needs are met.
