Job SummaryThe Sleep Technologist is responsible for the following:Procedure Prep: Prepares patients and equipment for procedures. Obtains medical history from patients/families to identify and meet patient-specific needs. (e.g., physical/mental limitations, current physiological status regarding the testing procedure). Reviews procedure request provided by ordering physician and complies with all standard lab protocols.Procedures: Performs polysomnograms according to hospital and laboratory standards and protocols; routine and specialized PSG, and other specialized procedures to meet the procedure request/goals of the study.
