The Sleep Technologist is to perform and evaluate routine and specialized overnight polysomnograms (PSGs), Multiple Sleep Latency Tests (MSLTs), and ensure patient safety. This role reviews patient information, prepares and calibrates equipment, applies electrodes and sensors, and observing the patient while they sleep. You will also need to make decisions to initiate Bi/CPAP titration or other treatment should the patient meet lab criteria. Keeps manager informed of issues. Performs other duties as assigned. Education & Experience:-Graduate from a CAAHEP Polysomnographic accredited program, the A-Step program, or have completed one for the 5 pathways to Registration as defined by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists-Required to maintain 50 CEU's eve
