Medical Instrument Technician (Sleep Tech)
A sleep technologist works under the general supervision of the medical director or designee to provide comprehensive evaluation and treatment of sleep disorders including in center and home sleep apnea testing, diagnostic and therapeutic interventions, comprehensive patient care and direct patient education. This work involves performance of Sleep Lab procedures which represent a significant segment of the total diagnostic treatment plan for the patient. Please Note: First consideration will go to current permanent employees of Captain James A. Lovell Federal Health Care Center. Second consideration will then extend out to all other VA employees.
